Being a silver car I felt the need to cover up the other colors (at least during the day). I’ve always been prone to blacking out my vehicles. I like the minimal, tidy look. There are a couple of chrome pieces I intend to remove rather than blacking them out, but that will come down the road.
- Covered the taillights with blackout covers (you might need extra 3M tape)
- Applied blackout film to the turn signal/fog light lenses, side marker lights, and headlight reflectors.
- Replaced the reflectors above the diffuser with MP Concepts’ blacked-out LED lights.
- Replaced the chrome 5.0 emblems on the fenders with black ones
- Tinted the windows a few days later
